Highering AI is looking for a strong Senior UI Architect with 3+ years of experience in working on end to end web app development projects.

Our client’s experts can provide unique insight and help with every aspect of web app design, development, and deployment, from its installation and architecture to its configuration and optimization.

As a member of the Web/UI team, you are engaged for architecting, planning, developing, implementing and monitoring the overall UI strategy.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Serve as a technical advisor and problem solver to clients, assisting them in optimizing their use of emerging and established technologies
  • Architect and manage end-to-end delivery of full-scale web applications
  • Lead team(s) and work collaboratively in an Agile environment
  • Build well-structured UI components that follow best practices
  • Convert visual designs to working user interfaces
  • Take feedback from client/users and implement interaction changes
  • Guide test strategy, including unit, integration and acceptance testing
  • Troubleshoot performance issues
  • Thought-leader, mentor contributing to interactive and visualization communities Expected Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, Time/Space Complexities
  • Working knowledge of Design Patterns
  • Working knowledge of Object-Oriented and/or Functional Programming
  • Experience with Domain-Driven Design
  • Experience with RESTful API design
  • Experience with Behavior-Driven Development or Specification by Example
  • Ability to articulate a solution by applying the S.O.L.I.D. principles.

Basic Qualifications

  • Expert UI Architect with 3+ years of experience;
  • At least 3 years in building robust Web Applications using JavaScript MVC frameworks (such as React) and Node.js
  • Strong public profile demonstrating contributions to thought leadership in the JavaScript space and open source projects
  • Developing senior talent by working with L&D, hiring and capacity planning

What Is a UI Architect?

A UI architect is a technology specialist who works to develop software, specifically by implementing a user interface. A UI architect understands how people use software and use this knowledge, along with their creative skills, to design tools and features needed to make the user experience both efficient and more enjoyable. Job duties include leading and collaborating with user experience designers, engineers, and graphic designers, creating a portal-style framework and innovative UI, conducting research and tests along the development stages, and recommending services or software to strengthen business infrastructure. Qualifications begin with at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field as well as several years of experience.
